We’re excited to announce a powerful addition to the EGSA Fall 2025 Conference program. On Tuesday morning, October 7, conference attendees will hear from David Richardson, Senior Official Performing the Duties of FEMA Administrator, in a keynote address titled “The Future of Generator Power.”
About the Speaker
Mr. Richardson brings a wealth of leadership experience in national security and emergency preparedness. As FEMA’s top official, he is guiding the agency through today’s most pressing challenges. Previously, he served as Assistant Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security’s Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office, coordinating efforts to safeguard the United States against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear threats.
His distinguished service also includes a decorated career in the United States Marine Corps, where he commanded combat units and taught at both the George Washington University and the U.S. Army Field Artillery School. Richardson’s career has spanned Afghanistan, Iraq, and Africa, where he was awarded for valor during combat operations.
