EGSA Fall 2025 Conference: Celebrating 60 Years of Power and Purpose

The 2025 EGSA Fall Conference concluded in Orlando with record energy, strong attendance, and a true celebration of the onsite power industry’s people and purpose. More than 300 professionals gathered to mark EGSA’s 60th Anniversary and share ideas shaping the future of power generation.

From the lively Exhibit Hall—featuring 40 leading exhibitors—to the inspiring keynote sessions and unforgettable social events, the week captured everything that makes EGSA a hub for connection and collaboration.

Powering Resilience: Keynote & Industry Insights

The conference featured a standout keynote panel on “The Onsite Power’s Role in Preparation, Relief, and Recovery.” Moderated by Lee Newton of Bay Power Solutions, panelists Joseph Dickinson (CAT–Ring Power), Chris Reynolds (United Rentals), and Sahil Shanghavi (Schneider Electric) offered powerful perspectives on how the industry mobilizes to protect and restore critical infrastructure during disasters.

Their discussion explored the technical, logistical, and policy challenges behind emergency power deployment, drawing lessons from recent disaster scenarios and emphasizing the innovations and coordination required to strengthen national resilience.

Connecting Through Experience

Beyond the sessions, attendees connected through a series of memorable activities that brought the EGSA community together in fresh and meaningful ways.

On Monday afternoon, volunteers teamed up with United Against Poverty to support local families through hands-on service—an effort that reflected EGSA’s commitment to giving back to the community hosting the event. That evening, the Aloha Celebration filled the air with island music, laughter, and the spirit of aloha as attendees enjoyed a live luau under the stars.

Tuesday brought a full day of networking and fun. Attendees chose from experiences including an exhilarating Wild Florida airboat adventure, a friendly Pickleball Tournament, and the always-popular Topgolf outing. The day—and the conference—culminated with a rooftop Closing Party, where attendees celebrated a week of connection, innovation, and 60 years of EGSA leadership against the backdrop of the Orlando skyline.

A Stronger Future, Together

As the 2025 Fall Conference came to a close, one theme resonated above all: the power of partnership. The event demonstrated the strength and spirit that will continue to drive the onsite power industry forward for decades to come.

EGSA extends sincere thanks to every attendee, sponsor, and exhibitor who made this milestone celebration possible—and looks ahead to an even more dynamic year ahead in 2026.
